Complex Color Wheels
As a result of this project, students learned the correct color ratios to create secondary colors, tertiary colors, and tints from the three primary colors. Students were given an 8x8 inch circle and had to create a design that was split into thirds and had a total of 24 color areas. Once students completed their radial design, they began mixing acrylic paint and painted their complex color wheels.
